Start Menu Concept
Today I made a start menu concept. Tomorrow I'll throw it in Unity and try to animate it. I also need to lean up the title and the fish, but it works for now.

Zheng
(1)Well, For this week, i'm going to learn the particle systems in unity because i also need to use the particles for other class projects. So i'm considering why not kill two birds with one stone. I've found some tutorials:

(2) I've found some bottom-up perspective from the google images, and i hope that at least you can be inspired a little bit.
(3) I saw other teams using the SLACK for communicating and meetings which i think is kind of convenient for us. Just open a team account, and we can share files and images. So do we consider use slack and start our TEAM AQUA?

Tasks to complete by next week- Jonnathan Mercado
I will be modeling, unwrapping, and texturing a boat that will be used in our game. I have already provided the programmer with several prototype assets, including a boat, fish, and spear.
Playing With Perspective...
This weekend I was contemplating how to make the most of the "bottom-up" perspective of our game. Today I made some fish models in Maya, so that I can arrange them in a 3D space. I want to see how we might be able to play with the distance of a fish from the camera and the perceived size of the fish.
Also, based on what I've read, ancient fishermen used hooks, nets, and spears, so we can design a mechanic around any of these and remain true to our "lore." I'm going to play around in Maya with my fish, smack my head repeatedly against a wall, and perhaps tomorrow I will have some better ideas for mechanics to present to the team.

What I'm doing for Sunday
For Sunday, I will write up some options for central mechanics that are more in line with the tone and style of the game. I may also do a mock up of the final game visual. Additionally I will look into some particle effects we could use. I expect to spend a total of 3-4 hours.
